Recap of our 2024 Season
2024 was an exciting year for Highlight Event Rentals. As our first full season in business, we started the year with lots of goals both personal and professional. As a family-owned and run business, we knew we wanted to build on to what we did in 2023. The experience we gained in the field gave us some ideas on how to implement things but we really had no idea how it was going to go. In the 2023 season, we started with such a small inventory that we weren’t quite sure how it would go. Particularly in spring which is arguably the busiest time of the year. But we were about to learn!
2024 Success Stories
We hit the season strong in 2024 with roughly double the inventory we started with. That meant double the tents, double the chairs and double the tables. Further, we added our large delivery truck – a 26′ box truck. Since starting our business, we’ve had so much support from the community it’s been unreal. And that helped propel our bookings in 2024. They started early and didn’t stop. Before long we found ourselves completely booked up for every weekend from Memorial Day through the end of July. That created a bit of a logistics problem. Because it’s just us and our two daughters, we suddenly found ourselves with between 20 and 35 events booked every weekend. And that’s when the fun began!
Launching into 2025
2024 was an incredible year – lots of work and lots of learning. We quickly figured out that this business is all about safety, efficiency and attention to details. When we finally arrived in November, we looked back with pride on what we had accomplished. We also started planning for our 2025 season. We are working hard on adding even more inventory for next season. We had to turn away so many clients last season because we were fully booked most weekends. So in 2025, we’re determined to have more available to serve more customers.
